It is well established that the first three years in a child’s life from conception are the most critical. This is when their brain develops, they create emotional bonds with their parents and develop the foundations of learning. Mini Explorers is designed to provide an unrivalled opportunity for your child to explore and master these skills through a range of high-quality activities and environments.

Activities can be booked in advance via our Eventbrite pages or you can pay on arrival at Reception. 

Refreshments and food can be purchased in our Jungle Café. 

We accept both cash and card payments at Mini Explorers. 

We are a dedicated early years centre, catering from pre-birth to 4 years, with age-appropriate rooms designed to create safe, stimulating and exciting learning experiences, with early years professionals on hand to answer your questions, should you have any. They are also here to signpost you to relevant services and inspire you to provide a rich home learning environment that will help your child reach their full potential.

The Mini Explorers site started out as Cranbrook Children’s Centre, before becoming the EYPaD Centre in 2018. The centre was designed and built specifically to provide early years services to the community, and we are delighted to continue offering families excellent early childhood experiences and support in new and exciting ways.

We do offer private hire, but this is strictly for the purpose of children’s parties for young children. We offer private hire between 1.30pm to 4.30pm on Saturday afternoon’s, usually for 2 hours (additional time over 2 hours at an additional charge).

We are based within the same building as Cranbrook Primary School, but with our own entrance next to the car park. You may also be familiar with Frenford Clubs which shares a vehicle entrance with Mini Explorers and the school.
